
Dean is an accomplished Senior Development Manager with a strong foundation in town planning, and over 20 years of experience shaping major urban projects across Queensland and abroad.
His career includes senior roles with Urbis, Economic Development Queensland, and the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning. During this time, he has played a key part in delivering some of the state’s most significant projects including Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane Quarter, Herston Quarter, Greater Flagstone, Yarrabilba and Caloundra South PDAs. Dean also spent time in the United Kingdom working on large-scale regeneration projects in London and Oxford, broadening his perspective on how great places are created.
At Atrio, Dean applies this depth of planning knowledge to strengthen the front end of projects through bespoke project strategy, site acquisition, due diligence, and planning reviews. He also leads the Development Management team to help deliver active projects while broadening Atrio’s capability and value for clients.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning from the University of Queensland and is a Full Member of the Planning Institute of Queensland.
