Atrio Primes the Development Pump with Senior Promotion

South-East Queensland-based property development group Atrio is perfectly poised for the next phase of its growth with a growing pipeline of development projects, supported by recent key internal promotions.

Jaryd Collins has stepped into the newly created role of General Manager – Development.

Atrio Managing Director Chris Hall said Mr Collins’ elevation to the senior leadership team is a win for both clients and colleagues.

“Jaryd has proven he has the experience and skills to drive a diverse development pipeline, but he is also a strong mentor for our development management team,” Mr Hall said.

“Jaryd’s experience across the entire spectrum of property development will be invaluable in developing our team and embedding our full-service property development approach.”

With 20 years’ experience in property development, Mr Collins has substantial end-to-end knowledge from site acquisitions and design to project positioning, development, budgeting, construction, and site divestment.

Since joining Atrio last year, Mr Collins has been working to bring several projects to market, including two significant master planned communities west of Brisbane.

“What I’ve enjoyed most is the opportunity to be at the conception of these projects so we can create maximum value for clients at every stage,” Mr Collins said.

“Having such a broad collective experience under one roof, allows us to position our clients’ projects the right way from the beginning right through to the final product. “Our sales and marketing team’s deep understanding of the market allows our development team to integrate real value into projects from the very start. It’s almost like building success into the fabric of the project,” he said.

Launched five years ago by Mr Hall as a lounge room start-up with one staff member and two projects, Atrio has grown to a team of 12 with more than 20 projects across residential, industrial, and commercial developments.

“Our business has not only grown, it has also evolved to the point where we now help our clients to find and secure the right opportunity before working with them throughout the development and into the final sales and marketing,” Mr Hall said.

Mr Hall says that Atrio is just getting started with its current Queensland pipeline valued at more than $500million, and further projects being conceived nationally.

“I almost couldn’t conceive of being in this position five years ago when I first started the business. It’s been a lot of hard work, but it’s also very much thanks to the fantastic team that we’ve built.”

Atrio’s current project pipeline includes Ripley View, a 511-lot residential sub-division in one of South-East Queensland’s fastest growing areas; the proposed residential redevelopment of Hardrock Quarry in Ipswich, a 158 Lot residential sub-division in Gatton; a 25 lot rural residential sub-division in Adare; a 51 lot residential sub-division in Bahrs Scrub; six childcare developments for Oak Tree Academy, and the ongoing reconfiguration works at Swanbank Industrial Estate near Ipswich..
